The Association of Former Milling School Students (VSMS) was founded in 1958 in St. Gallen. One year after the founding of the Swiss Milling School (Schweizerische Müllereifachschule SMS ), students at the time came to the conclusion that there was a need for an organisation that would enable and promote contact among the students beyond their time at the school.
Even today, the association's main concern is to support and promote the international network. On the one hand, we publish the association's magazine "Gesichtet & Sortiert" (Viewed & Sorted) every year and on the other hand, we try to cultivate the community interactively through this new platform. Everyone is invited to share knowledge and experiences, but also purely social concerns should have their place. It is up to all of us to make this platform a lively and popular meeting place.
